Where Jesus Christ is Lord
Dear Friends,
As we are nearing the 2011 Thanksgiving and Christmas season, lets remember to put the Lord first in our lives. We have been through many hardships and deaths since we moved back to Kentucky 5 years ago. But through all the sadness God has brought us so many blessings. This beautiful little church is growing in the Lord's knowledge, in strength and in numbers by the love of God. We must go forward and declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to all that are lost. We know that we are close to the time when Father God turns to Jesus and says "Go get our family".
God still has a plan for all of us. That plan starts with each of us through the plan of His salvation. Jesus said "I'll never leave nor forsake you." We have to continue to be that light on the hill for others to see God. We are trying here at this church to pray and rely upon our Heavenly Father more and more each day. It's quiet evident that the Lord's coming is soon at hand. With Abrahams heirs still fighting amongst themselves with each claiming rights to that little piece of land, called Israel, we are seeing the signs of the last day. Our church is so proud to be a part of the Restoring Individul Courage by standing by Israel" and God has provided for Terry to go stand within the Holy Walls of Jerusalem with Glenn Beck in August to Israel. Our elected officials need much prayer this year and our nation needs to back our close friend, Israel. God's people need to be able to sustain themselves in the hardships that we will see. God's will be done.
Just as God spoke to Father Abraham, Moses and Elijah, He still speaks to us today. We just have to have ears to hear. God shows himself to us in three ways: (1) His creation (2) His salvation and (3) His Holy Spirit. Always be listening for God's voice. Don't take your eyes off of Jesus and the wonderful life He wants you to have. Remember the spiritual world is more real than our physical world. Let us strive daily to live in that spiritual realm so God can lead, guide and protect us and our families.
May the God of all suffieciency bless everyone who reads these words.
May God Bless,
Terry & Phyllis Bowman
