Where Jesus Christ is Lord



Dear Friends,

As we begin spring and summer of 2010, lets remember to put the Lord first in our lives.    We have been through many hardships and deaths since we moved back to Kentucky 3 years ago.  But through all the sadness God has brought us so many blessings.  This beautiful little church is growing in the Lord's knowledge, in strength and numbers by the love of God.

God still has a plan for all of us.   That plan starts with each of  us  through the plan of His salvation.    Jesus said "I'll never leave nor forsake you."    We have to continue to be that light on the hill for others to see God.  We are trying here at this church to pray and rely upon our Heavenly Father more and more each day.  

Just as God spoke to Father Abraham, Moses, John, Isaiah and Ezekiel he will talk to you.  But you must have ears to hear.    We are human and it is very hard for us to comprehend God's spiritual world and how He works.  That's why we must not " lean not unto our own understandings" but put all our "trust  and rely" daily upon the Lord.  That's the only way we will  have  true contentent and happiness.  As you go about your daily lives don't listen to what peope say but watch "what they do".

We invite you to come and visit with us often here at the Independent Methodist  Church.  If you don't have a home church, consider us.  We would love to have you with us,  as we watch for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.    For your inheritance is in heaven, not here.  It's there waiting for you.   "Come quickly Lord Jesus!"
